[Editor's View] Discarded Gachapon Wins iF Design Award: The Crucial Step From "Thinking" to "Doing"

Can you imagine that casually discarded gachapon (capsule toy) shells could transform into colorful, stylish furniture? Recently, the Taiwanese brand ECOJOY collected used gachapon capsules and turned them into 100% recycled plastic stools, winning the prestigious 2025 German iF Design Award. It proves that by combining creativity with industrial design, waste materials can be given a completely new life.

I am Editor Mars. Seeing this news, as a peer in the recycling and materials industry, my mind was instantly flooded with ideas and inspirations.

Working in this industry, we deal with various materials every day and deeply understand that much of what is considered "waste" is simply misplaced resources. ECOJOY's success is incredibly inspiring. It reminds us that while taking that crucial step is difficult, it is absolutely worth it. Our team is currently grounded in reality, continuously optimizing our manufacturing processes and circular resource applications within our expertise.
